Accounts Payable Manager

Your new companyAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join a growing organisation in North Manchester. This role will lead end‑to‑end AP operations across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong performance against SLAs and KPIs.

n Your new rolen You will take ownership of AP operations, supporting migration and transition of activities while building and developing a high‑performing team.

n Key responsibilities include:

n

• Leading AP process migrations and driving standardisation

n

• Overseeing daily operations (invoice processing, payments, queries)

n

• Managing workloads and ensuring service levels during peak periods

n

• Ensuring compliance with European regulations

n

• Leading, coaching, and developing the AP team

n

• Partnering within internal teams to improve P2P processes

n

• Driving process improvements, automation, and strong financial controls

n

• Monitoring KPIs and delivering performance insights

n

n

What you'll need to succeed

n

n
• Proven experience in Accounts Payable / P2P, ideally within shared services

n

• Strong leadership and team development experience

n

• Track record of driving process improvements and change

n

• Strong ERP systems knowledge and advanced Excel skills

n

• Excellent communication skills; additional European languages are advantageous but not essential

n

n
