What you will do:

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the next stage in the evolution of Proton Mail and Calendar. Product sits at the intersection of Engineering, Growth, Data and Design. Your responsibility will be to grow user engagement and retention by creating remarkable user experiences for our community. You are versatile in product-led growth within our freemium model.

  • Work with the senior leadership team to define a strategic vision and roadmap
  • Drive product innovation, develop novel features that expand value proposition and increase defensibility
  • Define and own success metrics such as active usage, engagement, retention, and revenue
  • Facilitate collaboration between product, engineering, growth and marketing to align on vision and execution
  • Lead the teams through execution from conception to delivery, troubleshoot across multiple teams, and maintain high development velocity
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and gather customer feedback to inform decisions
  • Anticipate growth ceilings and define scaling strategies, including foundational technology, tools, and processes

What we are looking for

We need you to have:

  • 6-10 years of experience in product management in B2C or B2B SaaS, preferably in online privacy and/or productivity contexts.
  • Proven track record in successful product launches in fast-paced environments.
  • Strategic leader with an analytical and data-driven mindset, with a history of delivering products on time and with commercial success.
  • Strong empathy for the customer, user-centric mindset, and high standards.
  • A strong innate sense for good UX and a love for design.
  • Experience building and managing high-performing teams.
  • A work ethic of going above and beyond to make things happen; hands-on and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to dig into technical details with engineers and make the right trade-offs.
