A salaried GP position is available within a dynamic, multi‑disciplinary practice based primarily at Stoughton Road Surgery. The role involves providing high‑quality patient care with a caseload covering a wide range of presenting health‑care needs in a primary care setting.
Responsibilities
- Consult patient appointments, including home visits when required
- Triage patient referrals and manage the clinical rota, including duty GP and Enhanced Access schedules
- Issue and sign repeat prescriptions and complete associated administrative tasks
- Work collaboratively with clinical colleagues to uphold the highest standards of care for all registered patients
Qualifications
- Registered GP with the GMC
- Right to work in the UK
- Included on the NHS performers list

Rated ‘Good’ by the CQC and consistently achieving high QOF scores, Guildowns Group Practice is a forward‑thinking, friendly, and university‑linked GP teaching and training practice. We provide exceptional care to over 24,000 patients across four central Guildford locations and offer a collaborative clinical team comprising 18 GPs, advanced nurse practitioners, practice nurses, healthcare assistants, paramedics, social prescribers, physiotherapists, a chaplain and a dedicated pharmacy team. Services are offered to all demographic groups, including students and care homes. We hold bi‑weekly clinical meetings for all clinical staff and follow a named GP system to ensure continuity of care.
