Responsibilities

Provide expert legal services in Childcare Law, including advocacy and advice to Social Care and Education teams.

Deliver advice in a cost‑effective, efficient manner ensuring best value for the Council.

Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to improve outcomes for children and families.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified lawyer in the UK.
  • Extensive experience in Childcare Law and advocacy.
  • Experience working in local government or private practice preferred.
  • Highly organised with excellent IT and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly both as part of a team and independently.
