Charity Solicitor (5+ Years’ PQE) – Oxford

Responsibilities

  • Advise charities, trustees and other not-for-profit organisations on a wide range of legal and regulatory matters, providing commercially focused and pragmatic solutions.
  • Handle a caseload that includes establishing and registering charitable entities, advising on trustee duties, governance and regulatory compliance, charity mergers, transfers of assets, charity closures and de‑registrations, and liaising with the Charity Commission.
  • Draft and review a variety of governance documents, policies and constitutional documentation, ensuring clients remain compliant with relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.
  • Play an active role in business development, networking and strengthening the firm’s presence within the charity sector.

Qualifications

  • Solicitors with a minimum of 5 years’ Post‑Qualification Experience (PQE).
  • Demonstrable experience advising charities on governance, administration and regulatory matters.
