An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Legal department for a Senior Adult Care Lawyer to join our Regulatory, Safeguarding and Litigation team, dealing with a wide range of adult law queries and providing legal support in all aspects of adult care and Public Health.

Responsibilities
The Senior Adult Care Lawyer will provide legal support across adult care and related public health matters within the Regulatory, Safeguarding and Litigation team. Responsibilities include advising on complex care matters, supporting safeguarding processes, and contributing to legal strategy and risk assessment for adult services. The role requires collaboration with other legal colleagues and stakeholders to ensure high standards of service delivery.
Qualifications
Qualified solicitor or barrister with substantial experience in adult care law and related public health matters. Experience in local government or public sector law is desirable. Strong analytical, negotiation and advocacy skills, with the ability to work effectively with courts, professionals, and stakeholders.

Working arrangements
Legal Services are contractually based in Matlock, Derbyshire. As flexible workers, we are able to work from home but it is a requirement that you can attend the office once per week and be available to attend face-to-face Court hearings or meetings when necessary. The team is approachable and has strong communication and support arrangements. There will be an opportunity to discuss future working arrangements at interview.
