Position Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Product Manager to join our team. You are an experienced product manager who considers empathy a strength that helps you develop a deeper understanding of customer needs so that you drive exceptional value for customers. In this role you will work closely with cross‑functional teams, including engineering and design, to define requirements that drive growth, innovation, and value for our customers, and you will collaborate with product marketing to bring your product to market. The ideal candidate will be experienced, detail‑oriented, and a high‑ownership product manager who has experience delivering results through coordinating, aligning, and motivating a large group of distributed global stakeholders. You will define and own a 6‑18 month roadmap that aligns to our high‑level strategic platform vision. You have excellent communication skills, and you are equally comfortable working with engineering teams as well as presenting to sales, customers and non‑technical teams. You are flexible to work with teams in North American and Hungary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, define, and articulate customers’ unmet needs to drive innovation and help customers get their jobs done better.
  • Study and understand the market by performing market trend analysis, competitor assessment, data collection, and customer research to shape the roadmap and requirements.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from customers, ideas, and product metrics data to prioritize and boost customer product satisfaction.
  • Rigorously prioritize the backlog, define success criteria, own trade‑off decisions and guide engineering and UX design teams on the right design choices for our customers.
  • Be involved in product launch and release processes to coordinate cross‑functionally with product marketing to inform product positioning, packaging, and supporting collateral.
  • Own customer and stakeholder engagement for major product issues and design product value propositions for large audiences (e.g., PR, marketing, sales).
  • Monitor and track product usage and adoption metrics.

Required Experience / Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in a B2B SaaS software industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working with cross‑functional teams, including design, engineering, product marketing, and sales.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset and strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Understanding of agile development methodologies.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and lead cross‑functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Passion for technology and a strong desire to innovate and drive change.

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience within the governance, risk, compliance, or policy management domain.
  • Experience with Jira, Aha!, Pendo, and/or comparable tools.

Role will follow a hybrid work model. If you are within commuting distance to one of our Diligent office locations, you will be expected to work onsite at least 50% of the time. The hybrid model is designed to support strong collaboration and community.
