Job Title and Overview
Head of Business Intelligence – 35 hours per week, full-time, permanent role offering a salary of £55,001 per annum.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, implementation and integration of new systems and processes across the College.
- Advise the Senior Leadership Team on the selection, development and effective use of technologies and information systems.
- Oversee the design, development and maintenance of reporting solutions across all College systems, ensuring outputs are accurate, accessible and aligned to business needs.
- Lead the development, enhancement and ongoing maintenance of the College data estate.
- Coach, support and develop staff within the Business Intelligence Team and support stakeholders across the wider College to maximise the effective use of systems and data.
Skills and Qualifications
- A Level 3 Qualification in IT, Computer Science or Digital Support.
- English/literacy and maths/numeracy qualification at Level 2 or above.
- Excellent data extraction and transformation skills in multiple contexts.
- Excellent extraction, translation and presentation skills.
- Track record of successfully planning and implementing complex systems and processes.
- Experience of implementing third‑party systems with existing infrastructure via SQL/API.
