HGV 1 Night Shunter / Driver Coordinator Immediate Start

Drivers Direct are currently recruiting for a HGV 1 Night Shunter for our Client based in Measham

Whats on offer?

• £19.62 per hour (Including Holiday Pay)
• Start times: 23:00
• Finish times: 07:00 with earlier finish on a Friday.
• Ongoing work available
• Monday to Friday
• Temp to Perm for the right candidate

The Role:

• Shunting vehicles around the yard/site (Class 1 licence required)
• Conducting driver briefing and dispatching drivers at the start of their shift
• Managing & Distributing: Driver Paperwork / Handheld Scanners / Vehicle Keys / Fuel Cards
• Supporting the transport team to ensure smooth and efficient shift operations

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 (Category C&E) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 6 Months Experience
• No Major Endorsements
• Previous Shunting Experience
• Good attitude and reliable work ethic
