Job Description We are looking for a candidate who can ensure the service remains flexible and responsive to evolving customer and Trust requirements while operating within finite financial resources. This role requires strong leadership, commercial awareness, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Lead, support and guide departmental staff to deliver efficient services in line with legislative, company and Trust standardsEnsure compliance with all relevant food, healthcare and purchasing legislationBuild and maintain strong relationships with Trust staff, patients, customers and stakeholdersOversee quality monitoring, reporting and performance management in line with policiesDeliver departmental targets and contribute to overall contract performance and catering developmentImplement retail processes aligned to current trends to maximise service performanceMaintain safe, secure and compliant environments across all catering operationsManage resources and budgets, including financial reporting, forecasting and analysis Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications Previous experience managing a site or outlet operation, or within a healthcare/catering contract environmentStrong knowledge of food hygiene regulations, NHS standards, catering equipment, and health and safety practicesExperience in financial and commercial management with a focus on profitabilityStrong focus on achieving targets and delivering resultsFlexible approach with a positive attitude towards innovation and changeCommitment to driving business success and increasing sales revenueEffective problem-solving and customer service skillsExcellent verbal and written communication abilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to motivate and lead teams effectively The Company ISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
