7.5 Tonne Driver (Cat C1)

We are currently seeking a 7.5 Tonne Driver for one of our key clients in the Brighton area. There will be manual handling involved, so this role would suit someone that is physically fit. Immediate start available and a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate. Full training and induction will be provided.Key Responsibilities: Safe and efficient driving of a 7.5-tonne vehicle. Manual lifting of products as a core part of the daily routine. Multi-drop delivery work. Completing all necessary paperwork and ensuring digital tachograph compliance. Providing excellent customer service on behalf of our client. Why choose to work with us: Excellent Pay Rates: Up to £20.50 per hour depending on PAYE or Umbrella options available. (Current salary for perm staff is £31,775 per annum, plus monthly driver bonus if targets met, generous pension scheme, 22 days holiday per year plus bank holidays). Consistent Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am start. Perm contractual hours: 44.5 hours per week, including alternate Saturday mornings (4 hours). Essential criteria:  Valid UK Licence with Category C1 Entitlement (held for min. 12 months, no more than 6 points). Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card. Proof of Right to work in the UK (Passport or Birth Certificate with NI). Must be physically fit, previous experience with manual handling and lifting. No DR, DG, or TT endorsements. Reliable with a strong, hard-working ethic. Previous 7.5t driving experience (pallets, curtain-sider, multi-drop).
