Interactor – Show Experience Team
As an Interactor, you serve as an ambassador for the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter, guiding, entertaining, and enlightening visitors while showcasing authentic props, sets, and costumes from the Harry Potter films. Your role is to deliver a world‑class visitor experience and exceed expectations at every opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively engage and assist with the varied needs of visitors, delivering a world‑class visitor experience.
- Anticipate what visitors need and be fan‑obsessed.
- Present a friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable interface between the tour and all visitors, working as an ambassador for both.
- Actively listen and lead with empathy, integrity, and transparency.
- Proactively seek ways to support your team toward exceeding visitors’ expectations.
- Continuously improve your skills and knowledge related to the franchise, tour operations, and personal performance.
- Conduct Added Value Tours and assist in Audio Descriptive Tours as required.
- Work with the management team to enhance the show and visitor experience at every opportunity.
- Maintain a safe and tidy workspace; perform deep cleaning of sets as required.
- Adhere to and champion all guidelines and policies in accordance with WBD procedures.
- Stand for up to 5 hours at a time, perform light lifting, and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Interact with live show elements, including live actors portraying Death Eaters and other effects.
- Attend communication sessions and training outside core working hours as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Understanding of the Harry Potter film series and filmmaking.
- Previous experience in a customer/visitor‑facing role with a strong emphasis on quality service or experience.
- Previous on‑stage experience is desirable.
- Presentation skills – enthusiastic and able to speak in public to groups of up to 300 on a microphone; scripted and improvisational speaking required.
- Demonstrable ability to learn new skills and adapt to new situations within a visitor‑focused environment.
- Positive contributor who enjoys working effectively as part of a large and varied team.
Working Pattern
- Contracts range from 16 to 40 hours per week, including weekend work (Saturday and Sunday).
- Hours typically between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. during peak summer periods; other times 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; some evening events finish at 00:30.
- Shifts may start as early as 7 a.m.; outside‑of‑hours shift opt‑in available.
- Shuttle bus service is available from Watford Junction during normal operating hours; travel outside those times must be arranged independently.
- All working patterns include weekends and bank holidays (proportionate for part‑time).
