About the Role
Our client, a Global Financial firm in London, is embarking on its AI journey and wants a technologist with front‑office knowledge. The position splits roughly 50% AI and 50% front‑office responsibilities.
Responsibilities
• Act with analysts to agentify knowledge and data, applying AI to produce tangible research and insights.• Design and deliver state‑of‑the‑art solutions such as self‑learning and agentic AI, including rapid iteration from idea to production.• Serve as a key contributor with potential progression to an Applied AI Lead or Director role.
Qualifications
- Python systems engineering with experience building APIs (FastAPI/Flask) and deploying on AWS (ECS/EKS, Lambda, Bedrock, Docker)
- Experience building generative AI applications (LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI or similar)
- Validated production experience with RAG, agent, and MCP‑based systems, including AgentOps (CI/CD, monitoring, optimisation)
- Pragmatic builder/hacker mindset with rapid iteration (idea → POC → production)
- Understanding of investment banking / research workflows and financial data platforms (Bloomberg, FactSet, Refinitiv)
- Experience with M365 Copilot / Copilot Studio, plugins, and skills
- Previous experience in Post Trade / Front Office environments is essential
- Desired: cloud experience and ability to discuss macro, derivatives or commodities trading
