We are seeking an experienced marketer to lead and execute integrated marketing strategies for Transportation across Surface Transportation, Ports, Rail and Transit in Europe and India. In a high‑visibility role, you will drive brand growth, support pipeline development, and be a strategic partner to senior leaders.
Key Accountabilities
- Act as the strategic marketing partner to Transportation leadership across UK, Europe & India.
- Drive brand‑based marketing aligned to priority accounts and pipeline goals.
- Coordinate with Client Account Managers to champion the client voice and desired experience.
- Synthesize client and market insight to develop objectives, strategy and plans.
- Create integrated multi‑channel marketing plans (events, thought leadership, digital collateral, media relations).
- Translate complex technical capability into compelling narratives for target audiences.
- Measure activities, define KPIs, evaluate performance and recommend improvements.
- Lead a team (direct line management of at least one FTE) and support marketing operations, budget tracking, reporting and governance.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, optimise based on insights and contribute to marketing dashboards.
- Represent Transportation marketing strategy in senior leadership forums.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in strategic marketing roles within a B2B environment; transportation experience preferred.
- Demonstrated success in high‑impact marketing strategies in complex, competitive markets.
- Ability to align regional strategies with global objectives.
- Client‑centric mindset with strong engagement skills and a track record of driving sales through marketing initiatives.
- Leadership and influence skills, experienced with geographically dispersed teams and technical specialists.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools to track performance and optimise ROI.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field.
- Innovative thinker with the ability to identify emerging trends and translate them into actionable strategies.
- Adaptable to dynamic, fast‑paced environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High cultural sensitivity, especially regarding European and Indian markets.
- Results‑oriented; driven by measurable outcomes.
- Hands‑on willingness to support delivery and strategic work.
