Title: Safeguarding & Pastoral Support – Family Footings Facilitator

Salary: £27,228.16 – £30,158.39 FTE *

Location: Quest Academy, Rugby

Hours of Work: 38 hours per week (Mon 08:15–16:45, Tue/ Wed/ Thu 08:15–16:30, Fri 08:15–15:30) – 44 working weeks (49.6 paid weeks)

We are recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated Family Footings Facilitator to work across all key stage areas, act as a trained deputy designated safeguarding lead, liaise with families, support learners, deliver 1‑2‑1, small group and class interventions as needed, and assist with careers events, work experience and post‑16 next steps. The role requires reliability, commitment, excellent role‑model behaviour, caring and trustworthy demeanour, and the motivation to work in a school dedicated to continual improvement. Personal care support may be part of the role; applicants should be comfortable providing it with dignity, sensitivity and respect. The role also involves teaching learners to communicate safely, managing potentially unsafe behaviour, and maintaining an environment that supports safety for all.The work can be physically demanding and may involve high physical demands. We will make reasonable adjustments where possible to comply with the Equality Act 2010 and fully assess risks.
