Responsibilities
- Support individuals with personal care needs such as washing, dressing, toileting, and assist with medication administration and documentation in line with care plans.
- Prepare meals and assist with eating and drinking where required.
- Promote independence and encourage service users to engage in daily living tasks.
- Build positive relationships with individuals and their families.
- Support emotional well‑being and recognize signs of distress or changes in behavior.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment in the home.
- Respect confidentiality and maintain professional boundaries.
- Help individuals live safely, independently, and with dignity in their own home and community.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Compassionate, caring, and proactive attitude.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- UK driving licence and own vehicle with ability to cover travel between clients (includes business use on car insurance). Mileage reimbursement at 30p per mile.
- Weekend availability.
- UK work permission (eligible for work, not visa sponsorship).
- Experience preferred but full training provided.
