Care Worker – Weekends Only

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with personal care needs such as washing, dressing, toileting, and assist with medication administration and documentation in line with care plans.
• Prepare meals and assist with eating and drinking where required.
• Promote independence and encourage service users to engage in daily living tasks.
• Build positive relationships with individuals and their families.
• Support emotional well‑being and recognize signs of distress or changes in behavior.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment in the home.
• Respect confidentiality and maintain professional boundaries.
• Help individuals live safely, independently, and with dignity in their own home and community.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Compassionate, caring, and proactive attitude.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• UK driving licence and own vehicle with ability to cover travel between clients (includes business use on car insurance). Mileage reimbursement at 30p per mile.
• Weekend availability.
• UK work permission (eligible for work, not visa sponsorship).
• Experience preferred but full training provided.
