Senior Support Worker – Children’s Residential Care

Location: Stevenage – Brand New EBD Home, Hertfordshire.

Salary: £16.25 – £16.85 per hour plus £62.64 per sleep‑in (working approx. 4-8 sleep‑ins per month, an additional £3,000‑£6,000 per annum) from April 1st 2026.

Hours: 39 hours per week, 08:00-22:00.

Full UK Driving Licence is required.

We’re looking for a full‑time Children’s Senior Support Worker to join our EPIC team in Stevenage.

You’ll play a vital role in helping children and young people live happy, fulfilling lives in a safe and loving home environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high‑quality care and daily support to young people
  • Act as a mentor to support staff and lead by example
  • Promote a positive, nurturing environment for recovery and growth
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with children and colleagues

Requirements

  • A minimum of 12 months of experience in Children’s Residential
  • Full UK Driving Licence
