Position

The Fabricator role is an essential role within the manufacturing sector, responsible for constructing and assembling metal structures and components in line with detailed specifications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques, fabrication processes, and safety standards required in the industry. Attention to detail, craftsmanship, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are key for success in this position.
What You Will Be Doing
- Execute welding, cutting, and fabrication of metal components using various techniques (MIG, TIG, and Arc) in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Maintain equipment and ensure work areas remain clean and organised.
- Work collaboratively with the wider production team to achieve operational targets.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
About You
- Proficiency in various welding procedures, including MIG, TIG, and Arc welding.
- Understanding of safety procedures, welding code standards (such as ISO 9606), and quality assurance processes.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings and blueprints.
- Previous experience within a welding or fabrication environment.
- Committed to working safely and maintaining high standards.
- Relevant welding qualifications or certifications are advantageous.
