About the Role
Wood is seeking experienced Shutdown Pipe Welders to support a planned outage based onsite in Teesside.
This is a hands‑on role suited to highly skilled welders with proven experience working within fast‑paced shutdown environments, carrying out high‑quality welding on critical plant equipment and piping systems. Particular emphasis is placed on experience welding boiler tubes, pressure systems, and high‑integrity pipework using TIG and MMA welding processes.
Candidates must be safety‑focused, quality‑driven, and comfortable working in demanding environments, including confined spaces and at height, while delivering work to tight shutdown schedules.
