Job Description

ECHO Personnel is recruiting an experienced Installation Electrician for a well‑established industrial electrical engineering company based in Rushden. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated electrician to join a reputable business with over 40 years of experience, offering a permanent position within a stable industrial and commercial installation environment.

Salary

£34,000 – £42,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out industrial electrical installations across a range of customer sites including recycling, printing, farming, and processing plants.
• Install electrical supplies, lighting systems, distribution boards, and MCCB panels (up to 2000 amp systems).
• Work on control panels and emergency stop systems.
• Support electrical maintenance and EICR testing requirements when needed.
• Work both independently and as part of a team on installation projects.
• Deliver high standards of workmanship and customer service on all sites.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Experience in industrial electrical installation work.
• 18th Edition City & Guilds qualification (essential).
• NVQ Level 3 / AM2 or equivalent (essential).
• ECS or CSCS card (essential).
• 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification (essential depending on client requirement).
• Ability to work at height.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong customer‑facing and communication skills.
• Ability to complete jobs from start to finish to a high standard.
