Trauma‑Informed Social Worker: Safeguarding Youth (Hybrid)

Wigan Council is seeking a qualified social worker to join the complex safeguarding team. The postholder will use a strength-based, relational, trauma-informed approach to engage young people and families.

Responsibilities include completing WISE assessments, impact chronologies, contributing to team rotas, development days, and education across the borough. You will work within a multi‑agency team to advocate for the child’s best interests and ensure ongoing safety.
