College Receptionist Administrator – You will be at the centre of college life, supporting staff, pupils and families while ensuring our administrative systems are accurate, compliant and well‑organised. Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact, providing a friendly and professional welcome to visitors, parents and professionals, while managing calls, emails and enquiries effectively.
- Maintain reception operations, including visitor sign‑in, safeguarding compliance, keeping the area tidy, and handling post and deliveries.
- Provide confidential administrative support, maintaining accurate records and databases such as attendance and contact details.
- Support admissions processes, including responding to enquiries and preparing relevant documentation.
- Assist with the organisation of meetings, reports, correspondence and general office coordination.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, safeguarding requirements and confidentiality of all sensitive information.
- Contribute to the wider team by supporting additional tasks, attending training and meetings, and undertaking other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Confidence handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional approach.
- Organised, reliable and detail‑focused.
Remuneration & Working Hours
- Salary: £22,160.62 per annum (not pro rata).
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30am – 04:30pm.
- Contract: Permanent (term time plus two weeks).
- Eligibility: UK applicants only; no sponsorship offered.
