Join Our Team as a Technology Support Officer!

As our Technology Support Officer you will support teachers and students across multiple schools, ensuring that the technology they rely on for success remains operational. In this role you’ll help shape the future of learning by integrating technology into the classroom and beyond.
Core Purpose
Act as the primary IT support expert for our schools, reporting directly to the Deputy Trust IT Manager. Your main responsibilities are to maintain fully operational IT networks, provide hardware and software support, support the Management Information System and ensure IT security compliance across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Deliver day‑to‑day IT support to teachers, students and staff.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network issues.
- Assist with the rollout of new equipment and technology across the Trust.
- Collaborate with the IT team to integrate technology into teaching and learning.
- Maintain documentation for support procedures and equipment inventories.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and access to a motor vehicle.
- Experience in an educational or similar environment preferred.
- Knowledge of IT security best practices and network administration.
- Excellent communication and team‑working skills.
- Willingness to travel between sites.
