About the Role:
We are recruiting an experienced Senior Social Worker to join a dynamic Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced safeguarding professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident making timely decisions to safeguard children and vulnerable adults.
Working within a highly collaborative multi-agency setting, you will play a key role in screening referrals, assessing risk, and ensuring children and families receive the right support at the right time.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Social Worker within MASH, you will:
- Manage approximately 8–10 contacts per day, primarily Amber contacts and occasionally Green contacts.
- Undertake timely screening, information gathering, and risk assessments for incoming safeguarding referrals.
- Make informed threshold decisions in partnership with multi-agency colleagues.
- Support the Team Manager by undertaking delegated management responsibilities when required.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure effective information sharing and safeguarding practice.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive case records.
- Deliver high-quality decision-making within strict statutory timescales.
