IT Technician

Location: Oxford | Responsible to: Head of Department

Job Summary

IT Technician (with Mac proficiency)

We are looking for a motivated, highly technical I.T Technician / Mac technician to work in our warehouse in Oxford. The successful candidate must have experience in stripping down computers and repairing Macbooks/iMacs. Preference will be given to candidates with customer‑facing skills. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to join an established organization that has experienced significant growth recently.

Duties and Responsibilities

Diagnosing and repairing desktops and laptops with both software and hardware faults.
Setting up and installing new machines.
Stripping down laptops or PCs and rebuilding their systems.
Repairing motherboards and upgrading firmware.
Performing data recovery.
Software and system repairs including installations, upgrades and virus cleaning.
Apple Mac repairs including iPad, iPhone and computer repairs.
Ordering and stocking computer parts.
Assisting personnel with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of system hardware and software.
Providing daily operations and systems support to personnel.
Verifying functionality of hardware and software components.
Troubleshooting hardware and software issues in person, remotely and by phone.

Degree in Computer Science, Information Science or equivalent.

Office Co-ordinator – Home Based

Location: Remote | Responsible to: Head of Department

Job Summary

Office Co-ordinator – Home Based

Safe Pc Direct Ltd T/A Refurbmac is looking for an Office Co-ordinator to be responsible for the general operation of our office in the UK. Duties will involve:

Customer support: email, calls, chat support, Amazon support, fax support, courier claims, maintaining RMA lists, calls to courier companies if needed, generating labels, maintaining refund data.

Job Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or relevant field.
Minimum of 2 years’ proven experience in a relevant position.
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills (UK experience will be a plus point).
Must have good internet and own laptop.
Backup of light (no excuse on it).
Good communication and responsive; during working hours, should respond instantly.
Good understanding of management practices and techniques.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
Team player able to work with a team of 10.
