Responsibilities
- Support the Practice Manager to ensure the smooth running of the practice.
- Oversee daily operations of the surgery, manage administrative tasks and liaise with the reception and administration team.
- Lead the attainment of Local and National KPIs and APMS KPIs.
- Promote the development and identify training needs of reception staff, support their personal development reviews and lead the appraisal system for the team.
- Ensure effective supervision of the reception team and coordinate support services for other team members.
- Respond quickly to incoming calls, take appropriate actions to ensure excellent patient care and service delivery.
Qualifications
- Reception or customer care experience essential.
- Understanding of health services.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work within a team, maintain confidentiality and data security.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and flexibility in shift work.
