Learning Support Assistant — SEND Focus (20hrs/wk)

Position Overview

Fixed term until 14May2027 (linked to funding for a Year11 pupil) – 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, aligned to the pupil timetable (term time only). The role is pupil‑specific and does not require support during unstructured times.

Responsibilities

• Meet the pupil at the start of each day and support a positive, settled start to learning.
• Ensure the pupil attends lessons promptly and is ready to engage.
• Assist the pupil in accessing the curriculum, developing independence and achieving full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.

Qualifications

Experience of supporting children or young people, particularly those with SEND, is desirable but not essential.
