What we’re looking for

  • Experience working with children or young people with additional social, emotional or behavioural needs.
  • Excellent communication and de‑escalation skills.
  • Resilience, patience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • A team player who is willing to go the extra mile to support learners’ success.

Why join us?

  • The opportunity to make a lasting difference to vulnerable young people’s lives.
  • A supportive and experienced staff team.
  • Ongoing professional development and training, including physical intervention training.
  • A role where no two days are the same and every achievement matters.

We are also very happy to answer any questions you may have about the role or our school. To arrange a convenient time to speak in person, or to visit us ahead of applying, please contact the email address detailed below.
