Activity Care Assistant – Elm View Care Home, Bishop’s Stortford

Full‑time role based in Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire (CM232UW). Shifts cover weekdays and alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a lively, diverse programme of activities designed to stimulate, entertain and uplift residents.
• Use communication skills, creativity and a warm personality to build meaningful connections and create moments that enrich residents’ lives.
• Bring enthusiasm, compassion and a positive energy to create a joyful and supportive atmosphere throughout the home.
• Use IT skills to produce newsletters, send email updates to relatives, and keep social‑media pages such as Facebook updated and engaging.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role preferred.
• Strong communication, creativity and warm personality.
• IT proficiency for newsletters and communication with families.
