Role Summary
We are seeking qualified tutors with Maths Functional Skills experience to support our Post-16 Warwickshire delivery team. The position is based at the Warwickshire Outreach & Post 16 Hub in Nuneaton and requires own transport to move young people. The role will involve delivering engaging Functional Skills Maths and other programmes catered to individual learner needs and aligned with the Dare2Dream curriculum model, building positive relationships, supporting confidence, communication and employability skills, and helping learners overcome barriers.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Functional Skills Maths and other programmes suitable to individual skills and the Dare2Dream curriculum model.
- Create practical, learner-centred lessons that inspire and motivate.
- Support learners to develop confidence, communication and employability skills.
- Build positive relationships and act as a trusted adult and role model.
- Help young people overcome barriers and celebrate success.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience teaching, training or mentoring young people.
- Passion for inclusive education and supporting vulnerable learners.
- Ability to deliver creative and engaging learning experiences.
- Experience of Functional Skills Maths and other learning programmes/subjects.
- Belief in high aspirations and the potential of every young person.

Working Hours & Pattern
Full & Part Time roles available. Working pattern 40 weeks (term time plus 5 days across the year for training & development). Working hours Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm (part time days available). September Start Date.
Salary
Actual Salary £28,000 – £34,000.
