Overview

Location: DarwenContract Length: Autumn Term (September 2026 – December 2026)Pay Rate: £14.25 – £16.00 per hourSetting: Mainstream Primary School

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across the primary curriculum.
• Work with individual pupils and small intervention groups.
• Help create a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Assist with classroom organisation and preparation.
• Support pupil wellbeing and personal development.
• Encourage participation, confidence, and progress.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting children and young people.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• A flexible and supportive approach to learning.
• Knowledge of primary education is beneficial.
