The Role
You’ll work as part of a two‑person team operating specialist drainage vehicles. The role combines HGV driving with hands‑on drainage support work across the highways network.
Key Duties
- Drive and operate HGV Class 2 drainage vehicle (Vacuum Tanker)
- Work alongside an operative to support drainage clearance and maintenance
- Assist in operating specialist equipment to maintain surface water systems
- Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently
Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Approx. 50 hours per week
- Night shift: 7pm – 5am
Pay
- £18.13– £18.75 per hour (PAYE)
- Equivalent to £47,000+ basic per year based on typical hours
