Drama Teacher – Coventry

About the role

Justteachers is recruiting a dedicated Drama Teacher to join one of our partner secondary schools in Coventry. This full‑time role runs from September 2026 through to February 2027, and is well suited to teachers at any stage of their career, with strong support available for professional development.

The school provides a warm, inclusive environment where creativity is encouraged and students are supported to reach their full potential. Staff are collaborative, approachable, and committed to both academic progress and student wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Drama across both KS3 & KS4, including full classroom responsibilities
• Manage classroom behaviour, following the school’s policy
• Work with a mixture of abilities, including students with SEN

Pre-requisites

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Proven experience teaching Drama to GCSE level
• Strong classroom management and behaviour support strategies
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Two references that we are able to apply for, desirably from an educational setting
