Family Child Care Lawyer – Exeter

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and driven Childcare Lawyer of 3+ PQE to join a highly regarded and well-established practice in Exeter.
This is a wonderful opportunity to be an integral member of the thriving childcare team who are specialists in legal aid, including care proceedings and adoption and represent children, parents, extended family members and local authorities at all stages from initial instruction to final hearing. Your caseload may also include private law children matters.
Responsibilities
- Manage an independent childcare caseload, particularly public law cases.
- Represent children, parents, extended family members and local authorities at all stages of care proceedings, adoption and other child law matters.
- Advocate in legal aid cases and assist with Legal Aid system processes.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of post-qualification experience in child/family law.
- Proven experience independently managing a childcare caseload and public law cases.
- Strong advocacy experience and knowledge of the Legal Aid system.
- Children Panel accreditation or working towards accreditation is desirable.
