What You’ll Do
As a Care Assistant, you’ll help people continue living life on their own terms, in the comfort of their own homes.
You’ll:
- Build meaningful relationships with the people you support
- Help customers maintain their independence, confidence and routines
- Provide personal care with dignity, respect and compassion
- Support with meal preparation, nutrition and hydration
- Assist with medication and promote wellbeing
- Help with light household tasks to create a safe and comfortable environment
- Offer companionship, conversation and emotional support
- Travel between customers’ homes to provide reliable, consistent care
- Be a trusted and familiar presence that customers and families can rely on
