Introduction

Peapods Nursery are looking for a new Childcare Apprentice. You will be studying toward your Early Years Educator Level 3.

What You’ll Do

As a Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprentice, you will become part of a supportive and experienced childcare team dedicated to providing high-quality care and education for young children. You will gain valuable practical experience across all aspects of nursery life, supporting children’s learning and development through engaging activities, play-based learning and positive interactions. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills, knowledge and confidence while working towards a recognised childcare qualification.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Support the learning, development and care of children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Take responsibility for key children, supporting their individual learning and development needs.
  • Complete regular observations and contribute to children’s learning records.
  • Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that support children’s development.
  • Assist with creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support children’s personal care routines while promoting independence.
  • Contribute new ideas and activities to enhance children’s learning experiences.
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.
  • Work as part of the nursery team to provide high-quality childcare and education.

Training Outcome

There is a possibility of being offered a full-time role after successful completion of the apprenticeship.
