Our roles can be flexible around your lifestyle, either full‑time or part‑time, with a variety of shift patterns including weekdays and weekends.

Duties

Assisting with personal care
General light domestic duties
Assisting with the cooking of light meals, preparing snacks and the provision of beverages
Carrying out tasks as specified in the service users’ individual service/care plan
Transporting service users to local amenities and to medical appointments
Contributing to accurate and detailed record keeping while maintaining the service
Communicating effectively with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
Ensuring adherence to CQC regulations and company policies
Ensuring residents receive the highest possible quality of care and support, monitoring general health and reporting any concerns
Completing and maintaining accurate care records
Administering prescribed medicines according to the care plan

Desirable Qualifications and Skills

Proven experience in a home care setting or similar environments
Care Certification
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or a commitment to complete training)
Excellent communication skills in English (verbal & written)
Computer literate for documentation and reporting
Full UK driving licence (preferred)
Excellent interpersonal skills and a caring nature
Familiarity with care plans and home care practices is beneficial
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to understand and follow policies and procedures
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
Successful Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
