Rail BIM Modeller

Are you an experienced BIM Modeller with a background in Building Services and major rail infrastructure projects? This is an opportunity for you to join a growing engineering team delivering complex station and rail infrastructure projects, working with industry-leading digital engineering tools in a collaborative environment.

Location: London (3 days per week in office). Salary: £45,000 – £55,000.

The Opportunity

You’ll be responsible for producing and coordinating high-quality 3D BIM models, working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver accurate, coordinated digital engineering solutions across complex Building Services designs.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Producing and coordinating 3D BIM models and construction drawings.
• Creating models using Bentley OpenBuildings Designer, MicroStation and ProjectWise.
• Supporting clash detection, model audits, and design coordination.
• Ensuring BIM deliverables comply with project standards and BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
• Maintaining information within the Common Data Environment (CDE).
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the design lifecycle.

What You’ll Need

• 3-5 years’ experience as a BIM Modeller on major rail, infrastructure or Building Services projects.
• Strong experience with Bentley OpenBuildings Designer and MicroStation.
• Experience using Bentley ProjectWise and Bentley iTwin Design Review.
• Building Services (MEP) modelling experience.
• A good understanding of BIM standards, Common Data Environments (CDEs) and coordinated design.
