Salary: GBP39560 – GBP59003 per annum

In the heart of Westminster, an “Outstanding” Secondary School is looking for a Teacher of Biology / Science Teacher to start in September 2026. This is a permanent, full‑time position.

The Head Teacher seeks an ambitious educator who is keen to add value to an expanding Science Department. The school is renowned for supportive SLT and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects.

Experienced Science Teachers can take on a TLR such as KS3 Coordinator or other pastoral responsibilities. Early Careers Teachers (ECTs) will be enrolled onto the school’s bespoke ECT induction and will work alongside a range of young and experienced Science Teachers.

Person Specification

  • Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
  • Strong academics across the board – degree, A Levels and GCSEs
  • Must meet the 8 Teaching Standards to a “Good” or “Outstanding” level
  • Must be able to work as part of a large team of Science Teachers
  • Must be willing to listen to feedback
