Do you have experience working with children and want to take the next step in a rewarding career in education?
We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school where you’ll play a vital role in helping children develop confidence, enjoy learning and achieve their full potential.
You don’t need a Teaching Assistant qualification for this role – what matters most is your experience, your enthusiasm and your passion for supporting children. If you’ve worked with children in any capacity and have a caring, positive approach, we’d love to hear from you.
Whether your experience comes from schools, nurseries, residential care, youth work, sports coaching, holiday clubs, childcare or community projects, your skills could make a real difference in the classroom.
About the School
This friendly and inclusive primary school prides itself on creating a nurturing environment where every child feels valued, supported and encouraged to succeed. Staff work closely together to ensure pupils receive the guidance they need both academically and emotionally.
The leadership team is committed to supporting staff development, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long‑term career in education.

Working alongside experienced teachers and support staff, you’ll help children access learning, build confidence and develop key life skills.

- Supporting literacy, numeracy and creative activities
- Helping pupils build confidence and independence
- Assisting with classroom organisation and learning resources
- Promoting positive behaviour and celebrating children’s achievements
- Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and families
Every day brings something new, making this a varied and rewarding role where you’ll see the difference your support makes.
