Job Overview

Apprentice – Business and Administration Level 3

Fixed term contract for 12 months

Location: Heathfield Office, 75 Old Hawkhill, Dundee, DD1 5SN

Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary (Year 1): £17,472 per year

Progression Opportunities

This apprenticeship lasts 12 months with the potential to advance into a management apprenticeship upon successful completion. Progression is contingent on performance, behaviour and work ethic.

What will you do?

You will work at the Heathfield Office, undertaking tasks such as reception duties, answering telephone calls, issuing keys to contractors, assisting the management team with administrative duties, invoicing residents and communicating with students in the residences.

What skills and abilities do I need to have?

Required practical skills and qualifications:

  • Age criteria 16‑24 years, as set by Scottish Funding
  • Minimum National 5 in Maths and English
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Friendly, approachable manner
  • Excellent communication skills
