Park Recruit are partnering with a leading European data centre contractor to recruit an experienced Electrical Construction Manager for a major project based in Blyth.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business at the forefront of delivering large-scale, mission-critical projects across Europe. You’ll take ownership of all electrical construction activities on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
The Role
Working closely with the wider project team, you’ll manage the delivery of all electrical packages from installation through to commissioning, coordinating subcontractors, driving programme milestones and ensuring technical excellence throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage all electrical construction activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate daily electrical site operations alongside the project delivery team.
Ensure QA/QC procedures are implemented and maintained.
Manage electrical subcontractors, monitoring progress, resources and performance.
Coordinate with planners, project managers, consultants and design teams to maintain programme.
Review drawings, specifications and technical submittals to ensure quality, compliance and buildability.
Attend and lead site, planning, engineering and commercial meetings.
Ensure all Health & Safety requirements are met while promoting a positive safety culture.
Monitor project progress, manage variations and support commercial delivery.
Oversee electrical snagging, testing and successful project close-out.
Identify and resolve technical, design and coordination issues throughout the build.
About You
Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 7 years’ experience delivering electrical construction projects in a site management role.
Strong background managing electrical installations on large-scale construction projects.
Excellent understanding of electrical systems, installation practices and commissioning processes.
Experience managing subcontractors, project programmes and site coordination.
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
Previous experience within data centres, industrial, pharmaceutical or other mission-critical environments would be highly advantageous.
