Risk & Compliance Officer nn Bromleynn Hybrid nnnWe're working with a fabulous growing full-service law firm who are looking to strengthen their Risk & Compliance team with the appointment of a Risk & Compliance Officer.nnnThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in legal compliance, risk management, AML, or onboarding to join a supportive team and gain broad exposure across all areas of law firm risk and compliance.nnnWorking closely with the Head of Risk & Compliance, you will play a key role in supporting the firm’s regulatory obligations, maintaining high standards of compliance, and providing guidance across the business.nnThe Role?nn• Responding to compliance queries relating to client onboarding, AML, source of funds checks, GDPR and regulatory requirementsnn• Supporting the maintenance and development of the firm’s policies, controls and proceduresnn• Conducting AML, Source of Funds and Source of Wealth audits, identifying trends and areas for improvementnn• Carrying out electronic AML and conflict checksnn• Supporting Lexcel, CQS, WIQS and other quality accreditationsnn• Delivering compliance and risk training for new starters and ensuring materials remain up to datenn• Maintaining key compliance registers including complaints, claims, GDPR and conflictsnn• Supporting professional indemnity claims and circumstances, including liaison with insurers and external solicitors where requirednn• Assisting with regulatory reporting, audits and compliance projectsnn• Keeping up to date with changes in legislation, regulation and professional standardsnn About You?nn✔ Experienced within legal risk and compliancenn✔ Familiar with law firm processes, regulatory requirements and professional standardsnn✔ Confident handling AML, onboarding and risk management queriesnn✔ Highly organised with excellent attention to detailnn✔ Comfortable working with senior stakeholders, partners and wider business teamsnn✔ Proactive, resilient and able to manage competing prioritiesnnWhat's in it for you?nn⭐ Join a growing full-service law firm with an established compliance functionnn⭐ Gain exposure across a wide range of risk and compliance areasnn⭐ Work closely with senior stakeholders and influence compliance processesnn⭐ Excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within Legal Risk & Compliancenn⭐ Fabulous firm-wide benefitsnnnInterested?nnnKnow someone who could be perfect?nnnReach out let's have a confidential chat!
