Job Description:

Full Stack C# .NET Developer | Post‑Trade Operations | ETD | Up to £140,000 | AWS | Financial Services | Hybrid, London

A Full Stack C# .NET Developer is required to join a high‑performing operations technology team within one of London’s most technology‑driven financial services firms, operating across global commodity and derivatives markets.

This is a full‑stack role with a strong C# .NET backend focus, working on operationally critical systems that support the post‑trade processing of Exchange‑Traded Derivatives (ETD). You will be working across the full stack from React front‑ends through to C# .NET services and data layers in a highly data‑driven environment where accuracy, traceability and consistency are paramount.

This is a rare opportunity for a strong technologist to move into financial services at a firm that genuinely treats technology as a core part of its business rather than a support function. Domain knowledge is not a prerequisite; what matters most is full‑stack engineering depth, a methodical approach to data and a desire to work on complex, high‑integrity systems.

Team

The ETD Operations Technology team sits at the heart of the firm’s post‑trade ecosystem. They design and maintain the systems responsible for:

  • Building and maintaining full‑stack C# .NET and React applications supporting post‑trade operational workflows
  • Processing and validating high‑integrity transactional and position data across C# .NET services
  • Supporting deliveries processing, segregation movements and settlement workflows
  • Handling commission and fee calculations and operational adjustments
  • Ensuring exchange‑traded activity is accurately reflected across internal platforms and client accounts

The environment is data‑intensive and operationally critical, built on modern C# .NET, React and AWS infrastructure. The team works closely with operations stakeholders, business analysts and QA to deliver reliable, production‑grade solutions that meet strict regulatory and compliance standards.

Role

Location: Hybrid working, LondonSalary: Up to £140,000 + BenefitsTech Stack: C# • .NET • React • TypeScript • AWS • Docker • Terraform • SQL • NoSQL • CI/CD

Responsibilities

  • Design, build and test full‑stack C# .NET and React applications within a post‑trade processing environment
  • Develop modern, responsive React front‑ends that surface complex operational and position data to business users
  • Develop and maintain high‑integrity C# .NET backend services handling positions, balances, cash movements and fee calculations
  • Work with large volumes of structured transactional and position data, ensuring accuracy and consistency across downstream systems
  • Contribute to architecture and design decisions across the full stack
  • Write clean, maintainable and testable code across C# .NET and React, adhering to BDD/TDD practices
  • Ensure solutions meet regulatory and compliance requirements across applicable exchanges and clearing frameworks including FCA, SEC, CFTC and NFA
  • Support and improve CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices across the full stack
  • Liaise with operations stakeholders and business analysts to translate requirements into robust full‑stack solutions
  • Work closely with compliance and risk teams to ensure data integrity, traceability and auditability across all systems

Required Qualifications

  • Strong commercial experience as a Full Stack C# .NET Developer
  • Hands‑on experience building React front‑ends, ideally with TypeScript
  • Experience working with high‑volume transactional or position data in an operationally critical environment
  • Experience with Docker and containerisation
  • Experience with NoSQL or relational databases, with an understanding of data integrity and consistency patterns
  • Infrastructure‑as‑Code experience, ideally with Terraform
  • Solid understanding of modern CI/CD and DevOps practices
  • Experience with AWS or equivalent cloud technology
  • Knowledge of BDD/TDD methodologies
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments
  • Experience working in a regulated financial services environment with exposure to FCA, SEC, CFTC or NFA compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of Exchange‑Traded Derivatives (ETD) operations or post‑trade systems
  • Familiarity with deliveries processing, settlement workflows, reconciliation processes or client money segregation
  • Experience building or maintaining data pipelines handling margin outputs, cash movements or fee calculations
