Senior Analyst – GIC FI Trade Operations

Capital Group seeks a senior analyst to support the investment process with a focus on collateral management, derivatives, and fixed income securities. The role is central to post‑trade processes, ensuring accurate and efficient execution from margin management to settlement.

Responsibilities

  • Support margin management, collateral obligations, product lifecycle activities, and settlement functions.
  • Collaborate with investment, legal, compliance, vendors, brokers, custodians, and client relationship teams.
  • Act as a technical subject‑matter expert, providing guidance, mentorship and coaching to associates.
  • Own and proactively manage issue resolution, ensuring accountability and thorough documentation.
  • Analyze complex data, identify trends and leverage automation and technology solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, articulating operational risks and recommendations to broad audiences.

Qualifications

  • Extensive collateral management experience across OTC derivatives, cleared derivatives and securities financing transactions.
  • Experience with variation margin, initial margin, dispute management, substitutions, lifecycle events and collateral settlement processes.
  • Knowledge of derivative market infrastructure including CCPs, clearing brokers, trade repositories, custodians and counterparties.
  • Working knowledge of ISDAs, MSFTAs and product‑regulatory nuances.
  • Strong understanding of collateral‑related regulatory requirements and the ability to translate regulatory change into effective operational processes.
  • Experience with industry utilities such as Aladdin, FailStation, AcadiaSoft, TriOptima, CRD, MarkitWire, TradeSuite, Traiana, Bloomberg, Tradeweb and MTM.
  • Proven ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders and communicate operational risks to a broad audience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy in a deadline‑driven environment.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shaping new regional functions.
