FP&A Manager | Listed Consumer Brand

Company: Agora Talent
Apply for the FP&A Manager | Listed Consumer Brand
Location: London
Job Description:

This role exists because the person in it was just promoted. Before that, the person above them was promoted too. Internal progression here isn’t a talking point, it’s something they actively champion and there will be further opportunity for this as they continue to expand.

You’ll be the lead finance partner for Operations, Marketing and Commercial across the UK – the biggest and most commercially important part of the group. Direct access to the GM, COO and Operations Director from day one. Not filtered through a layer of senior finance, it will be you, in the room, with the people making the decisions.

What you’ll do

Three core areas:

  • FP&A ownership

Budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling from scratch. Monthly trading packs and board reporting. You’ll present financial performance to senior leadership – this isn’t a role where someone else takes your work upstairs.

  • Commercial finance / business partnering

Investment appraisals, business cases and real-time trading insight for some highly experienced and high‑calibre senior stakeholders. Your input will guide where and how the brands expand.

  • Team and process development

Manage and develop an FP&A Analyst, and improve how the function works – reporting, automation, planning tools etc.

What you’ll need

  • Qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with considerable FP&A and commercial finance experience
  • End-to-end FP&A: budgeting, forecasting, analysis and commentary
  • Commercial finance: business partnering, senior stakeholder influencing, modelling from scratch, investment appraisal etc.

About the business

They’re a well‑known, listed UK consumer brand. The UK operations are the largest part of the group, meaning it funds growth across the organisation, and you’re partnering with the key functions that fuel that.

The finance function is mid‑way through a shift from reporting numbers to genuine commercial input – and you’d be joining as that’s happening, not after it’s done. If your current business treats finance as a support function and you’ve been waiting for somewhere that doesn’t, this is probably worth a conversation.
