Key Responsibilities – Works Surveyor (Project)

• Planned maintenance within social housing or residential property.
• Carrying out property surveys and feasibility assessments.
• Preparing specifications, schedules of works, and technical drawings.
• Submitting Building Control and Planning applications.
• Tendering and procurement experience, including preparing tender documentation.
• Contract administration and managing contractors.
• End-to-end project management from inception through to completion.
• Chairing pre-start and monthly progress meetings.
• Monitoring project quality, programme, costs, and KPIs.
• Managing budgets, valuations, variations, and contract expenditure.
• Leading major projects such as large void refurbishments.
• Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations and health & safety.
• Working with internal stakeholders, legal teams, procurement, consultants, and residents.
• Knowledge of building regulations, construction methods, and current housing legislation.
