Location: Within reasonable travelling distance of Youggle House, Warrington

Weekly Hours: 35 hours a week

Overview

Our domestic abuse team has recently been awarded DAHA Bronze accreditation. We need a passionate Safeguarding and Domestic Abuse Manager to build on our achievements, lead a dedicated team of Domestic Abuse Coordinators and provide expert advice across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide line management support to Domestic Abuse Coordinators, ensuring high‑quality case management.
• Act as the expert on domestic abuse and safeguarding within the business.
• Support colleagues and external partners with practical safeguarding advice and guidance.
• Lead local authority safeguarding and DHR reviews and represent the organisation in related activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• In‑depth experience of managing a domestic abuse team.
• In‑depth knowledge of safeguarding and experience of advising others.
• Experience of working collaboratively with external agencies to achieve positive results for customers, including experience of managing professional challenges and escalations.

• Salary range: £45,000–£48,000 for a 35‑hour week.
