You will be working in the HS2 Main Works, the SCS Joint Venture with Costain and Strabag, our HS2 Main Works South team is delivering one of the UK’s most ambitious infrastructure projects – 26 miles of tunnels from London Euston to West Ruislip, along with viaducts, bridges and embankments that will connect communities for generations.
As the Project Manager, you will:
- Coordinate progressive project completion, assurance deliverables and acceptance activities across project assets to meet programme
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with project teams, clients, stakeholders and third parties to support successful project outcomes
- Promote a collaborative approach to project delivery through clear communication, relationship building and stakeholder engagement
- Act as a key point of coordination between delivery, engineering, quality, assurance, information management and client teams to resolve handover deliverables issues and maintain progress
- Ensure handover deliverables are planned, produced, reviewed, assured, accepted and transferred in accordance with project requirements
- Work closely with planning, delivery and technical teams to ensure project completion and assurance activities are integrated into project programmes and accurately tracked
- Monitor and report on handover deliverable progress, status, risks and key performance indicators using trackers, dashboards and visual management tools
- Identify, track and manage actions, risks and issues that may impact project completion or acceptance activities
We are looking for:
- Main contractor / large project experience highly
- Computer competence (MS Word, Excel, Document control system, Power BI)
- Line management experience
- Degree level education or similar
- Relevant professional membership
- Relevant CSCS Card
