Cover Manager

Overview

Are you a Cover Supervisor or School Administrator looking for a new challenge at a vibrant and busy school? This role offers an entry point into education for graduates or those considering a career change. Tradewind Secondary is working with a well-run, small secondary school to find a Cover Manager to join their administration team from September.

Responsibilities

• Arrange internal cover and manage the daily timetable
• Cover lessons for absent teachers and utilise pre-planned cover work
• Be on site and available to organise cover from early morning (around 6:30–7:00 am) and on site from 7:30 am
• Work as part of the school team and communicate effectively
• Handle data entry and related administrative tasks

Requirements / Qualifications

• Organised professional with good communication skills
• Ability to work within a school environment and support the team
• Full training and support will be provided from an experienced line manager
• Eligible for an enhanced DBS check; references will be taken up
• Open to Graduates seeking a route into education or individuals considering a career change; Cover Supervisors or supply teachers are encouraged to apply
